To tow a travel trailer or fifth wheel with trailer brakes you require a 7-way trailer connection on your tow vehicle. This plug will have: charge line/black wire, ground/white wire, taillights/brown wire, left turn/red wire, brake line/blue wire, right turn/green and the center pin is usually reverse lights/yellow wire.
